If you discontinue the operation of your trade or business, you are under obligation to deregister the trade or business. The same applies if you relocate the operation of your trade or business to a different community. In that case, you are under obligation to deregister your trade or business at its prior location and, if continued, to register it again at its new location. If you relocate your business or trade location within the community, a simple change of registration of a trade or business will suffice.

Each deregistration of a trade or business must be made in writing, using the standard form provided. Receipt of the registration of a trade or business will be acknowledged by the competent public authority.

Every deregistration of a trade or business will also be notified to other authorities (e.g. the Internal Revenue Service, Chamber of Crafts and Skilled Trades, or Chamber of Industry and Commerce).

Legal age or permit by the guardianship court

Notification is mandatory in case of a discontinuation of the trade or business activities or in case of a relocation of the trade or business.
